P/C Lan Technician (Dr. Frank Bryant Health Center) --
Duties: Responsible for the maintenance, repair and upkeep
of organizational systems to include desktops, laptops and
printers.
Job Qualifications: Must have a high school diploma or
equivalent. Must have one to two years of PC troubleshooting,
installation, configuration, and software administration.
Must be able to maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair
desktops, laptops and printers.
Dental Office Clerk I (Dr. Frank Bryant Health Center)
-- Duties: Responsible for the performance of various front
office duties in a highly accurate manner.
Job Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent
required. Medical Assistant/Office Specialist certificate
from an accredited school of Medical Technical School preferred
or minimum of one year or more of experience in front office
duties. Demonstrates good verbal and written communications,
with good interpersonal and organizational skills. Possesses
computer skills with proficiency in data entry and keyboarding
skills. Has knowledge in medical billing, to include Medicaid,
Medicare, Private Insurance and Carelink. Has ability to
handle multiple tasks ensuring completion with minimal supervision.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) required. Must have good attention
to detail.
Billing Specialist (Barrio Family Health Center) -- Duties:
Responsible for processing all third party payor claims,
to include research for accuracy and the processing of the
appropriate re-billing of outstanding claims; also responsible
for the posting of third party payor payments. Trains and
mentors staff; serves as back-up for departmental supervisor.
Job Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent.
Two years experience as an Insurance Billing Clerk or related
field. Knowledge of ICD-9-CM and CPT codes. Knowledge of
medical terminology. Familiar with Patient Accounts Management
Systems. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. Experience
in the use of personal computers and related software applications
used in financial and/or accounting as well as to quantify
and illustrate complex financial reports, comparisons, impacts,
and/or projects.
Dental Assistant I (Dr. Frank Bryant Health Center) --
Duties: The Dental Assistant will be responsible to provide
a range of clinical procedures and staff support in a full
range of dental operational services. Assist in the performance
of dental and radiological procedures. Will assist in the
coordination of day to day patients administration and office
support activities.
Job Qualifications: A graduate from an accredited Dental
Assistant Program. Must have Radiology, Infection Control
and Jurisprudence certification, CPR certified and bilingual
preferred.
LVN (Barrio Family Health Center) -- Duties: Serves as
a team leader of the pod by overseeing the day to day nursing
and patient services and activities.
Job Qualifications: Must have a high school diploma or
equivalent. Graduate from an accredited school of vocational
nursing required and currently licensed in Texas. One to
three years experience in Primary Health Care preferred.
Preferred experience in nursing. Fluent in English and Spanish.
Strong communication skills. Ability to plan and organize.
Must be assertive, creative and an initiator. Ability to
work well with all staff and volunteers. Ability to perform
well under stress. Must be knowledgeable of personal computers
to include internet/intranet navigations. Certified in Cardiopulmonary
Resuscitation (CPR).

Practice Manager (Dr. Frank Bryant Health Center) -- Duties:
This position will provide overall administrative and clinical
direction of all medical practice activities and programs.
Conduct overall coordination, planning, financial management,
evaluation and monitoring of the daily operations of the
health center and supervision of both front and back office
staff. Also, ensures adherence to departmental and organizational
wide policies and procedures, standards, and practices.
Job Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Management,
or Nursing. Must have at least 3 years of experience managing
ambulatory practices - both business and clinical operations
required. Must have strong verbal and written communication,
interpersonal, and organizational skills. Must be knowledgeable
of personal computers to include word processing, spreadsheets
and internet/intranet navigations. Must have at least 3
years of direct patient interaction; experience serving
culturally diverse patient populations.
Medical Office Clerk (Barrio family Health Center) -- Duties:

Duties: Responsible for providing behavioral health services
through individual and group counseling, ensuring referral
and tracking of these service.
Job Qualifications: Masters in Social work from an accredited
Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) program. Licensed
to practice in the state of Texas as a Licensed Clinical
Social Worker. Thorough knowledge of maternal and child
health, parenting issues, communication skills, family dynamics,
and substance abuse. Ability to work well with all staff,
community, and volunteers, including mentoring and supervising
social work students. ability to plan and organize work
with minimal supervision. Knowledge of and sensitivity to
cultural diversity. Bilingual in English and Spanish. valid
driver's license in the state of texas. Certified in cardiopulmonary
Resuscitation (CPR.)
