CommuniCare Health Centers is a full-service family health care provider addressing all the basic health care needs of its patients, including medical, dental, behavioral health and health education services. Not all services are offered at all locations, so make sure you confirm that the service you are seeking is available at the location nearest you.
 Our Mission
CommuniCare Health Centers has been serving the community since 1972. Our mission is "to provide comprehensive, affordable, quality health care while responding to the changing needs of the community and respecting the dignity, values and culture of the individual." CommuniCare Health Centers offer comprehensive primary health care services in Bexar and Hays counties. Our services include medical (family medicine, pediatrics, OB/GYN, and after-hours urgent care), dental, behavioral health, pharmacy, and laboratory. We pride ourselves for being a one-stop service facility for all of your primary health care needs. We provide services in San Antonio, San Marcos, and Kyle. In San Antonio, we have two full-service health clinics: The Dr. Frank Bryant Health Center on the east side and Barrio Family Health Center on the west side of San Antonio. Both of our San Antonio healthcare facilities offer primary medical care, behavioral health, dental, and laboratory services. Our San Marcos clinic offer primary medical care and behavioral health services to both children and adults. The Kyle clinic is a full-service healthcare clinic which offers primary medical care, behavioral health, dental, and laboratory services.
CommuniCare Health Centers is accredited by The Joint Commission, the nation's predominant standards-setting and accrediting body in health care. Since 1951, The Joint Commission has maintained state-of-the-art standards that focus on improving the quality and safety of care provided by health care organizations.
