Supportive Services
CommuniCare Health Centers staff is bilingual and bicultural, serving patients in English and Spanish. Assistance can be provided to patients who are hearing impaired or speak other languages.
Eligibility
Patients can apply for Medicaid and other public insurance programs, as well as grant-funded programs, onsite at Barrio Family Health Center and the Dr. Frank Bryant Health Center. Patients should bring proper identification and supporting documents.
Other Services
Health Education
Women, Infants and Children (WIC): WIC services are offered
at our site at the Las Palmas Shopping Center. WIC provides
qualifying pregnant and nursing women and children up to
age 5 with individual and group services including nutrition
education, breastfeeding counseling and food vouchers.
